Filler 2: A time-killer with strategy
In a new take on the time-killing great “Filler”, SimianLogic has vastly improved the user experience and graphics while retaining the simple, strategic gameplay dynamics. The concept of the game is simple: Fill a certain percentage of the screen by “inflating” blue filler balls, keeping in mind that each level only gives the player a certain number of balls. The trick, however, is to avoid the fast-moving “bouncy” balls, which will pop a filler ball if it’s still being inflated. Thus, quick movements and good predictive skills of ball movements are highly rewarded. Want to play Filler 2? Click here.

Filler balls versus bouncy balls
The game is surprisingly well-balanced, with later levels offering a not-impossible challenge and scaling the number of “filler” balls received appropriately with the number of bouncy balls. Timing can get painstaking, though, which simply builds on the “time-killer” nature of this simple free flash game. For a game as simple as Filler 2, it’s surprising to find so much strategy.
